POLICE have warned residents about a scam in Worcester involving people buying broken TVs.
Police have received several reports of people buying TVs from the back of a van at 'discount rates.’
When the packaging is opened at home the TV's are found to be broken/damaged.
On May 31, Worcester SNTs Tweeted: “Been made aware of broken TVs, being sold as working, today from a van in Lowesmoor, Worcester. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is... #saferneighbourhoods.”
