ALL lanes are now open on the M5 southbound following a crash earlier today.
Drivers have been warned to expect delays on the motorway following a crash between Junction 5, Droitwich and Junction 6, Worcester.
The traffic collision has now been cleared.
Highways England said: "Please be aware this incident is currently causing approximately 2.5 miles of congestion on the M5 southbound adding at least 30 minutes to normal journey times."
The emergency services were at the scene of the crash including traffic officers, police and fire service.
West Midlands Roads posted on Twitter: "M5 closed southbound between J5 Droitwich and J6 Worcester due to an accident.
"Plan ahead if travelling that way and expect delays."
HWFireControl Tweeted: "HWFireDroitwich and HWFireBGrove in attendance at RTC on M5 Southbound Junction 5. M5 currently closed southbound."
Highways England said: "Please be advised M5 southbound J5 Rashwood to J6 Warndon including J5 entry slip is closed, due to a Police Led Incident.
"Please find alternative routes."
