DRAMATIC footage shows undercover police cars "boxing in" a car on the motorway.
Dashcam footage shows two unmarked police cars box in a Volkswagen on the M5 between J7 and J8 near Worcester last night.
The driver eventually parked up on the hard shoulder - where the car was searched by officers and a police dog.
A secret compartment containing a quantity of drugs was uncovered by the police dog, named PD Burt, during the search.
Police say it is believed the drugs were being transported via the motorway network into Gloucester.
OPU Worcestershire Tweeted on Friday night: "TPAC boxing tactic completed on vehicle M5 SB 7-8 believed to be transported drugs to Gloucester.
"Excellent work by PD Burt who found a secret compartment inside the vehicle containing a quantity of drugs.
"Occupants detained and dealt with appropriately."
