EIGHT people in Pershore have got their week off to a winning start and scooped a cash prize of £1,000 each today, all thanks to their postcode.
The Dowling Drive neighbours netted the windfall when WR10 3EF was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery Daily Prize winner on Monday, June 29.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson said: “What a great way to start the week – a huge congratulations to our winners in Pershore today! I hope they can treat themselves to something special with their win.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted by Ramblers, which has received more than £8.8 million in funding to make sure that people can enjoy walking.
The next opportunity for local charities to apply for funding raised by players will be in August.
