WORKS: Repair works start tomorrow on sunken Worcester road
REPAIR works start tomorrow on a sunken Worcester road.
Temporary traffic lights remain in place in Deansway and the pedestrian crossing remains suspended.
Severn Trent has confirmed the sunken road as a collapsed sewer.
Worcs Highways & Travel Tweeted: "Sunken road at Deansway Worcester confirmed by @stwater as sewer collapse - repair works commence tomorrow am.
"Temp traffic lights remain in place & pedestrian crossing remains suspended - we'll update on progress tomorrow."
