A DISTRAUGHT mother has launched a desperate social media appeal to find her 14 year old daughter who has not returned home since last night.

Shani Pegler was last seen by her mum when she left their home on Linden Road yesterday evening. Her mother Pennie Bozward says "she will do anything to get her home."

Police have asked for the public to get in touch if anyone has any information on the teenagers whereabouts.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Officers are appealing for the public’s help to locate a 14-year-old girl who has gone missing from Worcester yesterday (Tuesday 30 June).

"Shani Pegler was last seen at around 10pm at her home on Linden Road, in Worcester, and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

"Shani is around 5ft 3 inches with long dark hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing light coloured jeans and a black hoody.

"If you have seen Shani or have any information on her whereabouts please call us on 101.

"Alternatively, information can be given to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
