THIS is the area been excavated in Deansway, Worcester, after the road collapsed recently.
We reported at the weekend that two-way temporary traffic lights are in operation in the road, while highway and Severn Trent Water workers have been working at the carriageway site.
Worcs Highways & Travel have tweeted the image and said: "Excavated area in Deansway #Worcester for work on the problems with the sewer that led to the road sinking.

"West Mercia Police are currently directing traffic."
