GARDENS are bursting out into glorious colour all over Worcester and beyond, as this latest collection of readers’ pictures shows.

One of the greatest mix of colours is in the picture submitted by Ginette Hoskins, of the garden in Martley belonging to her dad, Len Hoskins.

Ginette said: “ He loves his garden and has found it therapeutic since my mum, his wife Sue, passed away in January 2019.

“They loved spending time in the garden together.

“Many people pass by, admire it and stop to chat.”

“A nice day isolated in the garden, what could be better?”, asks John Horsley, of Warndon Villages

People take great pride in their gardens, not just in the flowers and plants but also in their structure – and the lockdown in spring meant many set themselves projects to make use of the unexpected time on their hands.

We want to show off your gardens in all their glory – flowers, vegetables, fruit, and all – and if you’d like to include yourself in the picture, that’s even better.

It doesn’t have to be a detailed study of a plant or flower, and you don’t have to be a keen amateur photographer. Just take a picture, tell us a little bit about your garden and send it to us.
