POLICE boxed in vehicle going 90mph on the M5 after the driver refused to stop.

West Mercia police said they had to use multiple police cars to box in a driver speeding on the M5 on Monday night.

When the vehicle was successfully stopped officers found "large amounts of class A drugs hidden in the car. Three people were subsequently arrested.

Police tweeted today: "Effective use of police boxing tactics at 90mph M5 7-8 two nights ago led to three occupants arrested and a large amount of class A drugs hidden, found and seized ongoing investigation being conducted by @SWorcPROACTIVE thanks to @CMPG for help with stop #teamwork D Shift."
