POLICE officers were called last night to concerns for the welfare of a man.
Emergency services were called to Marsh Avenue, Worcester, at around 9.15pm last night (August 10).
The man is now being cared for by mental health professionals.
An eye witness said she saw police cars and riot vans at the bottom of the street.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "We were responding to concerns for the welfare of a man.
"He is now being cared for by mental health professionals."
