A 28-year-old man has denied supplying drugs, arguing they were planted by police who have 'got it in for him'.
Hadley Pedder-Elwell appeared at Worcester Crown Court, sitting at the city's magistrates court, on Wednesday.
Pedder-Eldwell of Moat Crescent, Malvern, denied being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis between January 11 and November 22 last year.
The case was prosecuted by Amanda O'Mara while Pedder-Elwell was represented by Simon Phillips.
"The cocaine was planted by the police - is that your client's case?" said Judge Martin Jackson.
Mr Phillips said: "He feels they have got it in for him."
The trial is scheduled to last between two and three days and was placed in a warned list for January 4 next year which means it could begin in a three week window after that date.
He was granted unconditional bail until that hearing.
