A COUNTY business networking organisation has successfully launched a new ‘virtual’ group in Bewdley & Kidderminster, continuing its plans for rapid growth.

Sterling Networks, which currently has 21 networking groups across the Midlands, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and the South West launched the new virtual group in June and has since attracted many new members.

Founded in 2014 by husband and wife business duo, Neil and Tracey Davis, Sterling Networks prides itself on integrity and helps professionals build genuine, profitable business relationships that enable them to increase sales and discover new suppliers.

Despite the challenge presented by COVID-19, the dynamic organisation has been able to sustain its ambitious growth plans by ‘pivoting’ its strategy and moving all networking meetings from a face-to-face to a virtual environment via video conferencing tool, Zoom.

As a result, Sterling Networks has continued to support business leaders in establishing new relationships, whilst successfully increasing its members by 21 per cent to well over 300 members since the end of March 2020.

With plans to reintroduce face to face meetings once social distancing measures have been lifted, the new Bewdley & Kidderminster-based networking group provides the opportunity for business leaders from across a range of sectors to meet on a fortnightly basis, enabling them to establish new relationships and drive new business.

Neil Davis, co-founder of Sterling Networks, said: “COVID-19 has impacted firms across all sectors and there couldn’t be a more crucial time for business leaders to grow their networks and support one another through sharing their skills, knowledge and expertise.

“We saw an opportunity to continue supporting the business community by taking things online and the response to our new virtual networking group in Bewdley & Kidderminster couldn’t have been more positive.

“We look forward to welcoming more new members in the coming weeks and months and helping them secure more business, as well as resuming in person meetings when safe to do so.”

With a membership retention rate of 90 per cent, Sterling Networks is fast becoming one of the UK’s leading business networking organisations.
