Police are reminding drivers not to enter a swollen ford after a van got stuck yesterday [August 28].
Through Twitter, West Mercia Police in Pershore said: "Unfortunately another vehicle got stuck in the ford at Walcot Lane, Pershore.
"The fire service had to attend to rescue occupants - it really isn't worth the risk."
The white commercial van - bearing the livery 'Dreams' - was submerged up to its base in water around three feet in depth.
It is not the first time drivers have become stuck in the ford and over the years, emergency crews have had to attend the area to rescue drivers and vehicles.
And in 2007, the swollen ford claimed the life of Judge Eric Dickinson, aged 68, who was returning from Evesham County Court when he took the ill-fated decision to cut through Walcot Lane, which runs through Bow Brook from near Pershore Station to Drakes Broughton.
