SOME Americans are known to have trouble pronouncing the name shared with our Faithful City - but everyone agrees on the spelling.

Joe Kennedy, whose great uncle is JFK and whose grandad was assassinated Presidential hopeful Robert Kennedy, ran the campaign ad in Sunday’s Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

But an embarrassing typo led to the ad saying: “Joe Kennedy III: For U.S. Senate, For Massachusetts, For Worchester.”

The paper reportedly said it was not to blame for the error, that quickly gained attention on social media.

It turned out to be a fatal blow in the 39-year-old's campaign, as he lost to Senator Ed Markey in the Democratic primary on Tuesday.
