Sadly passed away peacefully on Monday August 17th, 2020 aged 90 years A beloved mother to Julie and a treasured grandmother to Mark and Sarah Service to take place at St George's Roman Catholic Church, Worcester at 12.00 followed by a burial at St Mary's Church Studley at 2.pm Family flowers only but donations if desired for the Dogs Trust may be sent to 89 Picture Hill, Wickhamford, Evesham WR11 7RT.

IRIS ROSE CHECKETTS (Née HOLTOM)

Of Ombersley. Passed away peacefully on August 21st, 2020, aged 73 years. Beloved Wife of Tony, cherished Sister of John, loving Mother of Richard and Amanda, much loved Mother in Law of Joanne and Andrew, adored Grandma of Nicholas, Holly, Jack, Freddie and the late Charlie. Also much loved by Tony's Family, Clare and her Partner Michael, Giles and Stephen and special "Grandma Iris" of Scott and Heather. She will be sadly missed by all her Family and Friends. The Cortege will process through the Village at 10.45 a.m., prior to a private Family Service which will be held at Wyre Forest Crematorium on Friday, September 11th at 11.30 a.m., followed by a Service of Celebration at St Andrew's Church, Ombersley at 12.45 p.m. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions attendance at Church is restricted to invitation only. At Iris' request, colourful scarves and ties are to be worn please. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, St Richard's Hospice or St Andrew's Church may be left on the collection plate at the Crematorium, Church or sent to E J Gumery & Son, 68/70 Ombersley Road, Worcester, WR3 7EU.

BRIAN MARTIN HODGKINS

Of Kempsey. Sadly passed away on August 26th, 2020, aged 87. Devoted Husband to Pat, dearly loved Father of Sarah and Son in Law Colin. The Cremation will take place at Worcester Crematorium, on Friday, September 25th, 2020, at 11.30 a.m. No flowers by request, donations if desired, to Acorns Hospice, Worcester, and Cancer Research UK can be sent to A V Band Funeral Directors, 41 St Nicholas Street, Worcester, WR1 1UW.

MARJORIE FRANCES DEW

Died peacefully at home after a short illness, on August 31st, 2020. A dear Mum, Gran and Great Gran.

CATHY DANIEL (Nee TAYLOR)

Passed away on August 24th, 2020 after a long illness, aged 67. Daughter of Gerry and Dorothy, partner of Roger, mother of Andrew, Alex and Richard, mother in law of Shaunee, grandmother of Harvey and Ava, sister of Mandy and Steve. Former HSBC Staff, will be fondly remembered by those who knew her. Private funeral due to current restrictions but donations to the Amyloidosis Research Fund can be sent to Bedwardine Funeral Services, The Coach House, 30 Bromyard Road, Worcester. WR2 5BT.

BENJAMIN JAMES AWFORD 'BEN' Sadly passed away on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020. Aged 23 years. Ben will be remember and missed by all Family and Friends. Funeral Service and celebration of Ben's life to be held at Worcester Crematorium on Friday, September 11th, 2020, at 1 o'clock. Donations in memory of Ben are being collected at the Funeral for the Walking Wounded Charity, a cause that was close to Ben's heart.

EDNA MARION HOOPER "MARION" Formerly a Senior manager in Adult Social care based at Malvern. Passed peacefully on August 15th. Loving Wife to John (deceased), loving Mother to Nigel, Robin and Judith (deceased) and fun loving Nanny. "Always in our heart".

MARTHA EMMY SCHMIDT Passed away peacefully at home on 30th August 2020, aged 97 years. She will be greatly missed by Family, Friends and all that knew her.
