'They are herbs' arrested man says after suspicion of possession of drugs
A MAN has been arrested in Worcester on suspicion of bike theft and possession of drugs.
Officers from the British Transport Police for Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire stopped the man yesterday (September 14) in Worcester on suspicion of bike theft, and after a search of his bag revealed some "interesting substances."
The arrested man claimed that “they are herbs."
Officers said: "The arrested man claimed that “they are herbs." That might be so, but I don’t think they are the sort that Jamie Oliver sprinkles over his meals. #DRUGS."
