THERE have been no coronavirus related deaths recorded at Worcestershire hospitals according to official statistics.

The latest NHS England daily figures (September 16) show there have been no new deaths recorded in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust, which remains at 279 deaths, with the number of deaths in the Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust remaining at 28 deaths.

In total there have been 307 Covid-19 deaths in county hospital and in all settings there have been at least 530 Worcestershire deaths.

The acute hospital trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.

The health and care NHS trust covers community hospitals and rehabilitation wards, including Worcester City Impatient Unit, Malvern Community Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital, Pershore Community Hospital, the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove, Tenbury Community Hospital and the Wyre Forest Ward.
