IT is World Teacher's Day and we've asked our readers who their favourite teachers were at school.
Paul Harding said: "I wish to thank Mr Hipwell (Ken) and Mrs Griffin who has inspired me to create 'Discover History'.
"Their history lessons were really interesting and left me wanting to know more. I had to work in education and heritage - thank you both."
Angie Western said: "Mrs T at WGGS - she gave up her lunchtimes to help those of us not taking chemistry to keep up with the others."

Lisa Davis said: "Mr Hewitt at Northwick Manor Primary School. The best teacher I ever had. "Made my last year of primary school memorable. Used to get out his guitar and sing 'Green Shield Stamps' to the tune of Greensleeves."
Katie Bradley said: "One of my favourite teachers was Mr Sides from St Barnabas he also used to play the guitar just all round nice bloke a friendly giant from what I can remember."
Rachel Stringer said: Mr Fisher at Elgar High. He taught my mum, aunties, uncles. Then my older cousins and I and my younger sister. He was such a caring, thoughtful man and amazing teacher. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say his name."
Jane Morris said: "Mr Jackman, St Stephens - wonderful sense of humour."
