SEVERAL areas across the county have seen three or more new coronavirus cases recorded in the last week.
The latest data published by Public Health England shows which areas in Worcestershire have recorded three new cases or more between September 26 and October 2 – the latest data available.
The figures are split into several ‘middle super output areas’ – which is used by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) – zones that are slightly larger than postcode areas with an average population of around 7,200 people.
Areas with fewer than two cases are not highlighted by Public Health England in its figures.
A total of 3,609 confirmed cases have been recorded in Worcestershire (as of October 6) according to Public Health England figures.
Of those cases, 609 have been recorded in Worcester, 345 in Malvern Hills, 660 in Wychavon, 802 in Bromsgrove, 610 in Wyre Forest and 563 in Redditch.
