ANOTHER of Worcester's biggest events to be called off due to coronavirus was the Worcester City Run.
Every year, thousands of runners descend on the city taking part in the race, many raising money for charity in the process.
Thousands of athletes, from stars such as Paula Radcliffe, Jo Pavey, Tanni Grey-Thompson and Jenny Meadows, down to the occasional runner, take to the city's streets for the events, which are lined with cheering well-wishers.
This year's event, along with so many others, fell victim to the coronavirus pandemic but organisers say next year's event, the Air Products Worcester City Run 2021 will more than make up for the disappointment for those who missed out on this year's event.
Each year, a team of runners from the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust take part.
The team of 62 runners from the trust took part in the 10k and half marathon runs on in September 2019 to raise money for research into cancer and support for local families.
The team is led by Jennifer Kelly, who set up the charity after her four year-old daughter Grace died in 2014.
The GKCCT was set up in memory of Grace and works to provide support to local families, fund research and teach the signs and symptoms of childhood cancer so parents know what to look out for.
Were you looking forward to running in this year's event?
