A PUB in Droitwich is reopening its doors for the first time since it was closed in March due to the Coronavirus lockdown.

The Copcut Elm is welcoming customers back tomorrow (October 26) with a 50% off deal, available Monday to Wednesday until November 22, across food and non-alcoholic drinks.

As well as opening for eat-in diners to tuck into everything from pies to pizzas, burgers to breakfasts and the pub brand’s famed Big Plate Specials, the pub will also provide a Click and Collect takeaway service.

Takeaway will be available to order by calling the pub, through the website or Greene King’s Order & Pay app.

Darren Arnold, general manager at the Copcut Elm, said: “After a long period of uncertainty, we’re delighted that we have reopened this week for the Droitwich community.

“Of course, customers will notice some differences when they return to the pub, but it’s important that alongside implementing these changes we maintain the very essence of the great British pub. We know how eager people are to return, and we ask that our customers enjoy their pub experience safely and following the guidance that we’ve put in place, which is there to protect both them and our team.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming our customers back and hope to see some old and new faces enjoying a great pub experience very soon.”

As part of the reopening, it will have a Pub Safe scheme which centres around hygiene and safety, underpinned with a series of practical measures the company has introduced.
