SOMETHING slightly different this week in our weekly Me & My Motor spotlight.
Roger Jones, of Peopleton, sent us this picture, taken in 1970, of what he describes as “my lovely Alvis TD21”.
The car featured in a TV advertisement made in 2011 for the RAC.
Football hardman-turned-actor Vinnie Jones is seen driving his young daughter to a party, only to be held up by a tractor and the a flock of sheep before the car breaks down.
And all the while, he keeps his tongue in check, even managing to avoid naming the place he’s broken down in when he calls the RAC – Crapstone.
Do you own a car which has had a famous past, or appeared on TV or the big screen? Or do you just want to tell us about your own pride and joy? Use this link to our Q&A and your car could be featuring soon
