A MAN and a woman stand accused of having a dangerously out of control dog which caused injury to two people in Malvern.

Meanwhile, a prolific Worcester shoplifter who cleared shelves in city shops is also due in court today.

John Hiles, 48, and Laura Prangley, 37, both of Duke of Edinburgh Way, Malvern are said by the prosecution to have been in charge of a Staffordshire Terrier which was dangerously out of control near Duke of Edinburgh Way and at Malvern Retail Park.

Both are due to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court today after two people are said to have been injured by the dog on March 15 this year.

Adam Webb, 29, of Mill Street, Evesham, is due in court for an assault on an emergency worker (a police officer) on September 20.

Richard Kupfer, 29, of Old Meadows, Whittington, is due in court for thefts in Worcester and Droitwich last month. Abdi Moahmud, 19, of HMP Brinsford is due to appear for possession of cannabis resin and a knife on April 1 this year.

Dwane Partington, 31, of Haddon Crescent, Willenhall is up for drug driving on the M5 (Delta-9 – a cannabis metabolite) on July 4 this year.

Kyle Francis, 22, of Wylds Lane, Worcester, stands accused of two shop thefts, possession of a knife and possession of methadone.

Darren Pass, 50, of Barbourne Road, Worcester, is in court for multiple shop thefts in the city, including for stealing alcohol and make-up. He has indicated guilty pleas including to stealing £229 worth of alcohol and food from Sainsburys in Worcester on July 25 this year and £340 worth of alcohol from the Co-op in Pershore on July 12.
