A MAN who pleaded guilty to two assaults has been fined and ordered to pay the victims compensation.

Ali Kayserili, of Water Croft, Long Meadow, Worcester, pleaded guilty to assault by beating of Serkan Koruk on July 1 in Worcester.

The 37-year-old also admitted assault by beating Ryushtyu Vatansever in Worcester on June 16.

Appearing at Worcester Magistrates Court on November12, Kayserili was fined £80, and ordered to pay compensation of £50 to both victims.

He was also told to pay costs of £135, and a victim surcharge of £34.

Magistrates agreed that the total, £349, could be paid at a rate of £40 starting December 14.

Also at the court on the same day Dwane Partington, of Haddon Crescent, Willenhall, admitted drug driving.

The court heard the 32-year-old drove a Ford Transmit on the Worcester section of the M5 on July 4, and was suspected of drug driving so was arrested by police.

After been taken to Worcester Police Station a sample of blood was taken. This revealed that he had 2.9 mg of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, a metabolite of cannabis, per litre of blood.

This exceeded the legal limit of 2mg.

Partington was disqualified from driving for a year, after it was explained by magistrates a driving ban was obligatory for the offence of drug driving.

Partington was also fined £103, and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, and costs of £85.

Partington offered to pay the full amount, £222, in full by December 10 - a offer that was accepted by the court.

And Crimea Price, of Morecambe, Lancashire, pleaded not guilty to drink driving in Worcestershire on October 23.

The 31-year-old was told to attend her trial that will be held on January 4 at Worcester Magistrates Court.

Price was given unconditional bail.
