A MAN has been arrested for theft from a vehicle in Warndon Villages.

The arrest came after police received several calls about two men acting suspicious approaching cars suspiciously in the area.

Worcester response officers attended and searched the area, identifying a 31-year-old man.

Police have said he was arrested on suspicion of theft from motor vehicle and is currently in police custody.

Inspector Al Denny said: “We take these sorts of incidents very seriously and understand the lasting and devastating effect it can have on members of our community.”
