THE fire service rescued a young child who had gotten locked in a bedroom at home in Worcester.
Firefighters were called to an address in Mayfield Road today at lunch time and rescued the child using tools.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A crew were called at 12.36 from Worcester station to a report of a child locked in a bedroom in Mayfield Road Worcester. A triple extension ladder & small tools were used to free the child without harm.
"The incident was closed at 13.10."
