THE city's coronavirus infection rate has continued to fall according to the latest figures.

Worcester's infection rate in the week up to November 19 was 188.7 cases per 100,000 people with 191 positive cases recorded in the seven days.

The rate fell from 280.6 cases per 100,000 people in the week up to November 12 when 284 cases were recorded.

The infection rate in Worcester has fallen nearly every day since November 12 when the city was in the second week of a national lockdown.

Worcestershire's infection rate in the week up to November 19 was 201.4 cases per 100,000 people.

Wychavon's infection rate was 141.4 cases per 100,000 people in the same week with 183 cases recorded - down from 167.7 in the previous week.

Malvern Hills infection rate was 109.3 cases per 100,000 people with 86 cases recorded in the week - falling slightly from 113.1 in the previous week.
