A TEENAGER has been banned from the roads after driving while over the drug limit.
Jake Maurice Spink admitted the offence when he appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court on November 25.
The court heard 19-year-old Spink had been caught driving a Ford Fiesta on Abbotsmead Road in Hereford on June 29.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 2.5 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.
Spink, of Buckfast Close, Belmont, was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 12 months. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
