A PLAN to convert a city centre listed building and former curry house into flats has been put forward.

Three empty floors of the grade II-listed building in Broad Street would be converted into five apartments under the plans by Kent-based developer MJAM.

The ground floor, which was previously the home of Indian restaurant Karma, would remain as a restaurant space but would be separate to the apartments.

Developer MJAM is working with city architect Nick Carroll on the plans.

If approved, the flats would be next to the architects' new office and 17 apartments in Broad Street.

The plans can be viewed via the planning section of Worcester City Council's website.

The application number is 20/00905/FUL.

Public consultation ends on January 1.
