DROITWICH groups still in need of support after a tough year are being invited to apply for a grant.
The authority’s grant scheme still has £4,000 left in the kitty to distribute to deserving groups and organisations.
Councillor Alex Sinton, leader of the authority (pictured above), said: “The town council is enormously grateful for the efforts of the community of Droitwich Spa in dealing with the effects of the Covid pandemic in 2020.
"We are also aware that many challenges remain and that charity groups may need financial help in the coming months.

"The town council can help in this regard through the grants scheme.
"At present a £4,000 remains to be allocated in the current financial year and invites groups to apply for a grant.”
