A POPULAR Evesham attraction has been forced to shut for the rest of the year after being hit by flooding.

All Things Wild, situated to the east of Evesham in Honeybourne, shut ahead of Christmas Eve when children had been set to be welcomed by Santa with special provision made so those visits could go ahead.

However, the flooding and damage was too great to put right for customers to attend after Christmas Day.

The company’s statement read: “It is with great sadness that we inform you we will be closed for the rest of December.

“We have suffered extensive flood damage, and whilst our team are working extremely hard to repair the damage, with further storms forecast we are unable to open safely.

“All guests with pre-booked tickets have been emailed with information regarding refunds.

“Thank you for your support throughout 2020. We wish you all a happy and healthy 2021, and look forward to welcoming you all back very soon.”

Ahead of the Christmas Eve visits, the company’s determination to ensure they went ahead well received by customers on social media.

The farm and park opened in March 2012 as an all-year-round year round family attraction which opens every day apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

It is home to many different species including lemurs, monkeys, tortoise and kangaroo.
