A CITY school has announced there has been a positive case of coronavirus within the setting.
Red Hill Primary School sent a letter out to parents today (January 10) informing them of a confirmed case of the virus in year three.
The letter read: “We have been advised by Public Health that there has been a confirmed case of Covid-19 within the setting. We are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health.
"Any adults and children who were classed as a close contact have been notified and informed to self-isolate.”
This is the first confirmed case the primary school has had. The school remains open to vulnerable children and the children of key workers.
