A LORRY crash on the M5 near Worcester is affecting traffic heading to and from the city.
The main carriageway is closed with slow traffic after the accident, which involved a lorry on the M5 southbound at Junction 4 (Bromsgrove/Stourbridge).
The northbound side was held while an air ambulance arrived on the scene.
Traffic remains slow as the main carriageway is still closed.
A diversion is in place via the exit and entry slips.
West Mercia Police confirmed they were on the scene, saying: "We're currently responding to a road traffic collision on the M5 between junctions 5 to 4a on the southbound carriageway at Upton Warren.
"The collision involves a lorry, a car and a pedestrian.
"There is a short diversion in place on the southbound carriageway."
