SAY hello to a real smiler – Boden Ren Dutfield, who is bringing joy and light into the lives of Worcester mum and dad Stacey Gormley and Josh Dutfield.

Boden arrived on September 23 at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, weighing 7lb 10oz and is a new baby brother for Buddy.

Stacey, who was full of praise for the midwifery team, said: “As births can go it was very simple.

“I went into hospital at 10pm on September 22 after being home that day in slow labour.

“I was met by my midwife and taken to Room 8 to deliver. At around 2am I was 5cm dilated and my waters were broken, I then went into the pool and at 3.27am our little miracle entered the world.

“During birth his cord had snapped but with the quick and calm thinking of my midwife everything was fine.

“We were home within a couple of hours.

“A massive thank you to Sue Jenkins my midwife from the Ruby team, who was amazing.”
