We all know how expensive buying a house can be and you have to pay close attention to the property market in order to scoop a bargain.

The pandemic has also had a significant impact on the Worcester property market and house prices have continued to climb since June 2020.

However, not every property has to cost a fortune.

There are some properties on the market that seen a significant price reduction in the last few years- could they be your next dream home?

Here are five local houses and flats which have seen the greatest price reduction:

This property has seen the biggest overall price reduction since first being listed.

The two bed flat was first put up for sale in June 2019 for £125,000. The price of the property has been reduced five times by a total of 29.2 per cent.

The flat is a retirement property for those age 60 and over, complete with a resident’s lounge and communal laundry facilities.

According to Zoopla, this Lechmere Crescent property has seen more than a 25 per cent reduction in price since first being listed.

It was first listed for sale in November of last year for £195,000.

Since then, it has seen a £50,000 price reduction.

The house itself has a lot to offer, with three bedrooms and a modern kitchen.

It would be the ideal property for first time buyers or those hoping to start a family.

On the market for a two bed flat?

This Eastbank Drive property has seen a price reduction of more than 25 per cent since it was listed.

In total, £51,000 has been knocked off the property’s asking price.

The flat has two bedrooms, one double and one single, and is situated on the ground floor of a retirement apartment.

The kitchen is fitted with a range of units and modern appliances. The flat also comes with a wet room with an emergency pull cord.

This period-style flat has seen a lot of price fluctuations since being listed for sale in November 2019.

Its price has been reduced six times and increased on two occasions.

In total, the asking price has been reduced by more than 18 per cent.

If you want to live in a luxury flat, then this should be your number one choice.

It is incredibly spacious, with original features that give it a distinctive and luxurious feel.

However, it’s important to note that the figure presented represents a 75% shared ownership figure.
