MEMBERS of a Facebook group are appalled after a member spotted a dog walker trying to force three bags of dog poo through a road drain.

Mark Bridgwater, a member of the Spotted Kempsey page, said: "Walking down Chapel Road today, I noticed that some kind dog owner had tried to drop three black poo bags through the slats in two of the drains in the road unsuccessfully I might add.

"What is the matter with some people around here.We have some real animals living in this village - and I am not referring to the dogs."

Members reacted to his post.

Kate Campbell said: "It gives the many good dog owners like myself a bad name. We always pick up after our dog and use a suitable bin on walks or take home - it’s really not hard to do."

Pauline Bronwen Price said: "Disgusting."

Dave Cocking said: "It just gets worse. Totally lazy and selfish. Be good to find out who it is and post it through their letterbox."

Hels Bells said: I find it bizarre, why bother picking the poo up & putting it in a bag if you aren't going to dispose of it correctly."

Rach Conway-Walton said: Doesn't surprise me one bit. There are some feral people around."

Derek Gibbons said: I've found them [full bags] on my gate."
