WORCESTERSHIRE will have its most miserable day of the year this week, new research suggests.
The past 30 years of weather data has been analysed to try and find out exactly when the county can expect the lowest temperatures, and most amount of rain, to make it the most miserable day of the year, on top of the current lockdown blues.
DIY home installation website InternalWallPanels' research suggests residents of Worcester, and the wider county, can expect this Wednesday, February 3, to be the worst day.
The figures suggest an average temperature of 2C, and average rainfall of 43mm.
But there is some good news - the early Met Office forecast suggests just a 33 per chance of rain that day, and temperatures could reach a high of 9C.
