A MAN from Worcester has been banned from driving for six months and fined for speeding.
Qumar Ajaz, of Hawthorn Road, was caught speeding in Ombersley on the A449 Dunhampton on July 13 2020.
Ajaz, 38, was caught driving at a speed exceeding the 50mph limit.
He pleaded guilty to the charges at Worcester Magistrates Court on January 27 2021.
He was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £110.
On the same day 19-year-old Wilfred Husband was also fined for speeding.
He was caught speeding on the M5 Southbound dual carriageway in Worcester at a speed exceeding 70mph on February 12 last year.
The case was proved by single justice procedure on November 5 2020.
Husband, of Market Place, County Durham, was fined £331, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £110 by the magistrates on January 27 2021.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
