We were looking to recreate the romance in the run-up to Valentine’s

Day, instead of trawling through Amazon for inspiration.

And Dorothy Monk, of Worcester, took the chance to send in a joyous picture of her with husband Barry.

Dorothy (nee Jenkins) was married to Barry at St Mathias Church in Malvern Link on January 6, 1968.

“A happy day” is how she described it – and that’s obvious from the picture.

Reader Calvin Lenton took the chance to send in a picture of his mum and dad, Pam and Tom Lenton.

The couple were wed at at St Martin’s Church in London Road, Worcester.

Calvin said: “We all need nice little things like this at the moment to cheer us up.”
