A WOMAN has been fined more than £1,300 and banned from driving for six months after failing to give information relating to the identifying the driver of another vehicle on two occasions.

Clare Gibson, of Minerva Mews, Alcester, was stopped by police in Droitwich on April 21 and July 3 last year.

On both occasions she failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Land Rover who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

Gibson, 37, pleaded not guilty to the charges at Worcester Magistrates Court on November 3, but the verdict was proved in absence on January 7 2021.

She was fined £1,320 for the two offences, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £132 and costs of £110.

Her driving record was also endorsed with six points for the first offence on April 21.

A man has also been banned from driving for six months for speeding in Worcester last year.

Jason Bexton, of Beechley Drive, Derby, was caught speeding on May 27 2020 on the M5 in Worcester.

Bexton, 39, was driving at a speed exceeding 70mph.

The case was proved by single justice procedure on December 15 last year.

Bexton was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £110.

A woman from Pershore has been fined for failing to stop at a red light.

Danielle Rourke, of Meadow Walk, Pershore, drove through a red light in Wyre Piddle on June 27 last year.

She pleaded guilty at Worcester Magistrates Court on February 3 2021.

Rourke, 28, was fined £66, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and her driving record was endorsed with three points.
