POLICE are still at a Worcester location but have now left another as a murder investigation continues.

Charles Byrne, 24, appeared in court on Friday morning charged with murdering Christina Rowe and attempting to murder another person, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

Officers were stationed outside an address in Waterworks Road, belonging to Byrne, on Friday but have now moved on. At the address in Waterworks Road, there is visible damage to the frame of the door to the house, indicating a forced entry.

Meanwhile this afternoon police remained at Cheviot Close, believed to be the address of Miss Rowe.

A police car and a forensics van was parked outside, and a forensic officer was seen by a reporter putting items into the van.
