THERE have been two new coronavirus related deaths recorded at Worcestershire's hospitals today, according to official statistics.

The latest NHS England daily figures (Thursday February 25) show there have been two new deaths recorded in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, bringing its total to 758 and no new deaths at the Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, meaning its total remains at 58.

In total, there have been 816 Covid-19 deaths in county hospitals and at least 1,255 in all settings.

In England, a further 254 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 82,410

Patients were aged between 26 and 99 years old. All except 13 (aged 57 to 94 years old) had known underlying health conditions.

Date of death ranges from 28 December 2020 to 24 February 2021 with the majority being on or after 20 February.

Their families have been informed.
