AN attempted murder trial could begin in Worcester today.
Richard Evans, 48, of Ronkswood Hill, Worcester faces a charge of attempted murder and his trial could begin at Worcester Crown Court this morning.

Alternatively, if this does not go ahead, the backer trial of Pawel Skiladz could be heard instead. The 36-year-old of St George's Road, Redditch faces two charges of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Karol Lobos, 39, of Goodwin Gardens, Evesham is up for sentence on a charge of assaulting/neglecting/abandoning/ill-treating a child.
In court three the sentence of Dean Harris is due to take place this morning. This will be followed by the plea hearing of Benjamin Guise and a later sentence of Adam Snape. Hereford Crown Court is sitting at Kidderminster Magistrates Court where a series of administrative hearings are due to be heard remotely (over video link), mainly trial assessments to check on the progress of forthcoming trials. Plea hearings will also be heard.
