It's World Book Day today and we know that even in the one of the most difficult years that most of us can remember, youngsters will still be getting dressed up as their favourite literary character.
And you can send us pictures to show off their efforts.
Children in and around Worcester will be dusting off their magic wands and finding their fairy wings for the annual celebration of reading and writing. Usually it means children of all ages going to school dressed up as witches, wizards, pirates and princesses and other literary characters.
Of course, for most children, the return to schools doesn’t happen until Monday, March 8, but we know that won’t stop those who are still at home from taking part in the fun.
We’ve included a selection of pictures sent in by readers over the past few years – do you recognise anyone? It might even give you a few ideas.
Is your child dressing up for World Book Day? We want to see the pictures of your costumes!
Just use the link below. Please include your child’s name, their school, and the character they are dressed as with your picture.
Send us your photos for World Book Day 2021
Send us your best photos of your children dressed up for World Book Day and we will publish as many as we can in the Worcester News on Tuesday 9th March.
