ALAN Chandler, who lives in Hanley Swan, is hoping readers may be able to help him with two wedding pictures that have him baffled. Alan said: “This request is a mystery. My aunt Rosa Chandler is a bridesmaid, sitting third from the left in the first picture and on the right in the second picture.

“I couldn’t tell you when the wedding pictures were taken, as I have no record, and she passed away some years ago.

“I do know that they must have been local and I would like to know whose weddings they were – it looks as if they might have been 1930s. “My aunt worked at Worcester Royal Infirmary for 44 years as matron’s maid.

“I wonder if any of your readers could throw any light on who these people were?”

Why not send us a nostalgia wedding picture? It could be the big day of you, your parents or grandparents. Maybe it wasn’t such a big day, but no less memorable.
