TWO local brothers are tackling litter in their village whilst also raising thousands for a Worcester children's charity that supported their friend.
Barney and Jacob Vincent are dedicating 30 minutes every day of March to picking up litter in Ombersley.
The boys have already raised £2,350 for the Worcester Rainbow Project, a group raising money to help families with disabled children.
Proud Auntie to the boys, Laura Stone, said: "We are so proud of them. This was all their idea after seeing a friend at school who's sister was supported by the rainbow project.
"Not only are they helping the local community by clearing up litter, but they have raised so much money for the charity as well.
"They are out there every day, in all weathers, and are enjoying every second. Even if they do sometimes use the litter pickers as swords!"
