THE city’s infection rate has fallen to double figures for the first time since mid-December.
Worcester’s rate was 89.9 cases per 100,000 people in the week up to February 27 with a total of 91 cases recorded.
It is the first time the city’s infection rate has been in double figures since December 15.
Worcestershire’s infection rate also fell to 112.3 cases per 100,000 people with 669 cases recorded in the week.
Wychavon’s infection rate also fell to double figures to 97.3 cases per 100,000 people. A total of 126 cases were recorded in the week.
The infection rate in Malvern Hills was 105.5 cases per 100,000 people with 83 cases recorded in the week.
