WHEN Henry James Wellavize grows a little older, mum and dad will be able to tell him that he arrived on a very special date – but only just.

Anthony Wellavize and Sophie Wellavize’s second child, a baby brother to Evie Rose was born in Worcester weighing 8lb 8oz, nicely symmetrical for someone born on February 12 2021.

Sophie said: “Henry made an entrance to the world in the nick of time to be born on such a special date – 11.42pm.

“My Mom didn’t want a baby to be born on the 13th of the month – but she didn’t realise how special the 12th date was!”

Now if Henry had been born at 12.21pm that really would have been something for him to enjoy telling people about when he gets a little older!

OSCAR David Arnold obviously wanted to make his birth a special day for his godmother-to-be, as he delayed his arrival by nine days so it matched hers!

Oscar was born to Demi Griffiths and George Arnold on October 19 at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, weighing 9lb 7oz.

Mum Demi said: “Oscar’s due date was October 10 but decided to come nine days late which fell on his godmother-to-be’s birthday.

“I went in two days beforehand with tummy ache but was only 2cm dilated so I had to be induced the next day.

“I had to be taken to theatre to have forceps as baby head wouldn’t turn. I lost 1500ml of blood and couldn’t remember most of the birth as I was on so much pain relief and tired!”

SITTING pretty in pink is Aylah-Rose Ann Weston, the light in the lives of Chloe Blockley and Ben Weston.

Aylah-Rose was born on June 27 at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, weighing 6lb 13oz.

Chloe said: “Aylah was brought into the world a little early due to complications but she is the absolute light of our lives and brought us so much joy in such a hard time.”

And the family have received more good news: “We recently found out she is going to be a big sister to her little brother!”

And there’s the distinct possibility they may end up sharing the same birthday – Chloe says the due dates are one year and a day apart.

A HAPPY-LOOKING Noah Gordon Junior Wells was born only a few weeks before Christmas and is blissfully unaware of all the problems the coronavirus pandemic has caused.

He arrived on November 18 at Worcestershire Royal Hospital to Ross Wells and Lottie Adams, weighing in at 7lb 7oz.

Delighted grandmother Maria Beauchamp, Noah’s Nanny, said: “My son Ross has given Noah my dad’s middle name.

“My dad passed suddenly nearly two years ago without warning. Although I do believe in give a life to take a life, he didn’t even know he was going to be a great grandad – he would have loved Noah.”
