THE family of a woman who died earlier this month at a house in Worcester have paid tribute to a "kind and selfless lady"

Janet Mason, 69 years-old, died at an address in Green Lane, Worcester, on March 9.

Her family has since released a tribute to their much-loved relative.

It says: "Janet Mason, aged 69, taken too early from our lives.

"Janet was the kindest, hardest working and most selfless lady with the biggest most compassionate heart and her loss will be felt by all her family and friends.

"Janet is survived by her four sons Glen, Shane, Chad and Luke.

"Forever and always in our hearts and thoughts."

Following Mrs Mason's death, police announced another woman had been arrested and charged with murder.

Jessica Craine, 49, of Hillside Close, appeared at Worcester Crown Court on March 14 via video-link, where she spoke only to confirm her name and whether she could hear the proceedings.

Judge James Burbidge said she could face trial next year, but that a psychiatric report would have to be completed before then.
