ROAD resurfacing work in Worcester centre next month will see one-way operation is use for about 10 days.

Beginning on Wednesday, April 21, Trinity Street will be closed from its junction with St Nicholas Street to its junction with St Swithin's Street.

Drivers are being asked to use an alternative route of St Nicholas Street, Angel Street, Angel Place and Broad Street.

On the same day, part of Green Hill, London Road, will also be closed for road resurfacing work, again expected to last 10 days.

The road will be shut from its junction with London Road to its junction the Hill Avenue.

An alternative route will take drivers along St Dunstan's Crescent, Battenhall Road, London Road and vice versa.

Further out of town, there are plans in place to close part of A44 Bromyard Road, from its junction with B4197 Knightsford Bridge to the Herefordshire county boundary, again to include resurfacing works.

Work is due to begin on Monday, April 19, and traffic must take the alternative route following the A44 (Herefordshire County), A465 (Herefordshire County), A417 (Herefordshire County), A4103 (Herefordshire County), A4103 Storridge, A4103 Dragons Cross, A4103 Dragons Cross to Hereford Road, A4103 Leigh Sinton, A4103 Bransford, A44 Bromyard Road and vice versa.

The work is set to last for 19 days.

Finally, planners are considering bringing in 'no waiting' restrictions on one side of Berwick Street, near Diglis playing fields.
